Fee for Service
Paying "fee for service" is the best way to ensure the complete confidentiality of your mental health and related personal information.
Managed care will often literally "manage your care" - by limiting the number of sessions it will pay for based on a formula that often does not take into consideration your unique circumstances.
I have found that clients who pay out of pocket become invested in the process - they work hard to achieve their goals, making the process of therapy more effective and often more efficient.
Payment for sessions is expected at the end of each session. Sliding fees can be negotiated upon request. You will be given a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.

Insurance Reimbursements
Therapeutic services are reimbursable by most insurance providers should you choose to seek it. I am an out-of-network provider to insurance companies. I am an in network provider for straight Medical Assistance (MA) and can bill that provider directly for services.You will be given a receipt that can be submitted to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
